You are the expert of yourself and I believe you will know if counselling is right for you. Counselling can work for everyone, but it's important to find the right counsellor. You can trust your own sense of whether the relationship feels comfortable and supportive.
Counselling sessions can help you to gain clarity on any issues, change old patterns, untangle complex personal issues, or embark on a journey of self development. You may seek counselling as a result of a crisis, or you may be encouraged to seek counselling by family members, friends or colleagues. But ultimately only you can make the decision if counselling is right for you.
I provide a safe environment to allow you to explore your issues. I am highly trained in listening and reflecting. With most types of therapy you are free to discuss what you wish, from everyday events, dilemmas, feelings, and thoughts, to regrets, aspirations, memories and dreams.
In our first session, we'll talk about your goals, challenges, and how we can work together to support your mental health journey. It's a chance for you to ask questions and get a feel for how therapy will work.
